This Wednesday (11), the mayor of the city of São Paulo Ricardo Nunes announced the “Virada da Vacina”, an initiative through which the municipality intends to immunize all adults residing in the region who are 18 years of age or against covid-19. more until Sunday (15).
The event, which will start on Saturday morning (14), will last 34 hours straight – and is expected to attend approximately 600 thousand people, according to a publication by the City Hall.
In total, more than 600 stations will offer doses of immunizing agents, including Basic Health Units (UBS) and facilities in malls, parks, clubs and other establishments, as well as a drive-thrus, which will operate this weekend from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What are the vaccination prerequisites?
Also according to Nunes, the anticipation of the program to combat the pandemic was made possible thanks to the new lots received by the capital until today (680 thousand) and to those that will receive until Friday (13) – 440 thousand.
To get vaccinated, you must have 18 years or older and take with you a photo document, a proof of address (physical or digital) and the card of the Unified Health System (SUS).
“If there is not in the name of the citizen, vouchers will be accepted in the name of the spouse, partner, parents and children, provided that a document that proves kinship or marital status is also presented, such as General Registry (RG), birth certificate, certificate of marriage or deed of common-law marriage”, highlights the City Hall.
